Service History:

2375 - present - Assigned to the USS Wraith as Security Officer

Background:

Following first contact with the Federation in 2368, the KessRith Clan Patriarchs decided they had to find out more about this new culture. They selected a young male who was physically weak but considerably brighter than the average to join Star Fleet.

Chtac Mohat was a poor student in most areas and struggled in many theoretical classes. In tactical operations he held his own with his classmates, but in security work he excelled. He has the distinction of being the only cadet to win the open wrestling championship in each of his four years at the Academy. He also recorded the slowest time for the Academy marathon for 59 years.

In his third year he was nearly expelled after starting a fight with six Klingons who were visiting the Academy under an exchange program, but the following month, once they were released from the medical wing the Klingons themselves asked that he not be disciplined.

His assignment to the USS Wraith as a security officer is his first since graduating (127th in his year) and it is still unclear how he will interact with different races in life and death situations.

Psychological Profile:

Little is known about the racial tendencies of the Kess Rith, but during his time at the Academy Chtac Mohat had a tendency to rely on his physical prowess rather than thinking his way through problems. When he runs into things he can't physically dominate he has been known to panic and senior officers are advised to exercise extreme caution on these occasions.

Counsellor's Note: Without doubt this is one of my most difficult reports to write. Chtac Mohat is undoubtedly intelligent but chooses to let his strength do the talking on most occasions. Counselling sessions have therefore yielded no insights into his psyche.
