2375 - Present - Assigned to the USS Wraith as Stellar Science Officer.
Background:

She moved from Bajor to Earth when she was very young, with her mother, older brother and younger sister, her father stayed behind to fight in the occupation.
Ta'ya grew up resenting her younger sister, but was very close to her brother.
At the age of 14 Ta'ya Lee left home. She had stopped speaking to her mother and sister when she found out that her mother had run away for the attack on their home world instead of staying to protect it. she went in search of her missing father.
After months of searching she discovered that her had been killed in one of the last attacks on Bajor. Disheartened she returned to earth, looking for some way that she could honor her father. So she joined StarFleet and pleased to find her brother had already joined, also studying sciences.
