"The Price of Freedom"

The United Federation of Planets, a strong and powerful organisation. Well, at least in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Here, in the Delta Quadrant, the Federation is hanging by a thread. In an effort to make it stronger, the Federation Integration Commission sent representatives, both bureaucratic and diplomatic, to guide any prospective new civilisations in the Delta Quadrant into the welcoming arms of the Federation.

After the battle of New Terra, and the defeat of the Ssoran/Romulan Pact, New Terra applied for membership. They got an Probationary Membership by the Highest Diplomatic representative in the Quadrant, Vice-Envoy Dimitrij Krivolenko, the Cultural Attaché. Now even the three worlds of the Ssoran Hegemony has applied for membership. Will that be enough to build a base to stand on in the Quadrant? Not nearly enough.

Even now, missions to contact other civilisations in the F'asa sector is being planned.

On one of these missions, USS Wraith got the honour of making a treaty, and hopefully alliance with a possible strong neighbour. It is a perilous mission, as the last, and so far only, contact ended in an ambush. Will the Wraith pull through, where no one else has succeeded? Join the ship and find out.
