Roberta "Bobbi" graduated from Medical School in 2367, commissioned an Ensign and a practicing physician in Starfleet Medical. She was assigned to the USS Monitor, Nebula Class and a few months later was engulfed in the Battle of Wolf 359. She had been injured and put in a coma for three weeks. Three of the four friends she had made were killed. This was very traumatic for her.

In 2369, with her extra pip, she was sent on an Away Mission to a remote settlement in the Deokian Sector. The colonists were stricken with a rare fungal infection. The captain, relunctantly quarantined the away team as well as the colonists. With very primitive equipment, she found a cure, but it was at a tragic price. 6 colonists and one of the away team had died. The remaining colony was moved and Bobbi became their 'family' doctor for the two weeks it took to get them to a more suitable planet.

In 2371, near the Klingon border, the Monitor renedezvous with a Klingon bird of prey and as a rite of passage, she was expected to eat gah and other dishes at the informal gatherings of both ship's officers. The Klingons recieved word first of Chancellor Gowron's declaration of war against the Federation and acted on it. The Klingons went on a rampage, striking down any crew member they encountered. Bobbi, the executive officer, the chief medical officer and the chief engineer survived the initial attack; the captain had been killed. Fighting occurred throughout the Monitor as Security attempted to keep them at bay. Eventually The crew overcame the savagery. The executive officer was made captain and the ship would engage several other Klingon warships before the brief war ended.

Her need to understand what had happened on the Monitor, made her study up on Klingon culture. She was invited, as part of the Monitor contingent, to a special ceremony honoring those who died on both sides.

In 2374, she was promoted to lieutenant commander and assigned to the Achilles, a new Akira class starship. The Dominion War started and the Achilles was ambushed by three Jem'Hadar attack ships. The Achilles' last stand lasted a mere twenty minutes before her weakened shields could no longer take the hits. Bobbi helped evacuate the crew the best she could as decks began to depressurize. In her escape pod, she kept the moral up until rescue finally arrived, even subdueing an officer who was getting claustrophobic and attempted to open the access hatch.

She was temporarily assigned to the SS Kobe as part of the small medical staff before becoming the Chief Medical Officer of the USS Wraith.

Bobbi is a very warm hearted person who can see the good in almost any one. She will put her patients needs before all else, regardless of priorities. She is dedicated to the Hypocrates Oath: Do No Harm.
